We provide therapy services to children, individuals, couples and families at our Dundas and Waterdown locations and virtually throughout Ontario. 

We’re an award-winning clinic with a team of highly experienced therapists, including Registered Social Workers and Registered Psychotherapists with extensive training and certifications. What To Expect

Starting therapy can feel like a big step—and it’s completely normal to feel a mix of emotions, from nervousness to hope. At OM, your first session is all about creating a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported.

Your therapist will begin by getting to know you. This may include talking about what brought you to therapy, what’s been going on in your life, and what you’re hoping to gain from the process. There’s no pressure to share everything right away—this is your space, and you can move at a pace that feels right for you.

You can also expect your therapist to ask some questions about your background, current challenges, and overall well-being. This helps them better understand how to support you in a way that feels meaningful and personalized.

Your first session is also an opportunity for you to get a feel for your therapist. A strong therapeutic relationship is important, and it’s okay to take time to decide if it feels like a good fit.

Together, you may begin to explore goals for therapy, whether that’s managing stress, improving relationships, working through difficult experiences, or simply gaining more clarity and balance in your life.

Most importantly, your first session is about showing up—just as you are. You don’t need to have the “right words” or a clear plan. We’re here to meet you where you’re at and walk alongside you from there. 

Online Booking & Direct Billing

Our services are covered by most extended health benefit plans, and we offer direct billing to most. We encourage you to check with your insurance provider about your individual plan and coverage ahead of time.

We offer complimentary consultations because we believe finding the right therapist is an important part of your journey. This gives you the opportunity to connect, ask questions, and get a feel for whether it’s the right fit—without any pressure or commitment.
